Impact’s Swivel Umbrella Adapter is a sturdy studio grip accessory designed to mount a light or flash together with a photographic umbrella on a light stand with a 5/8-inch-diameter top.

The bracket tilts and swivels for easier aiming, and its ratcheting tilt handle can be repositioned while tightening, which helps when working in restricted spaces. A large sliding T-handle secures the stud connection, while a separate oversized knob locks the adapter to the stand.

The locking, angled umbrella receptacle accepts 0.27-inch (7 mm) and 0.32-inch (8 mm) shafts. Reversible 5/8-inch stud interfaces support female 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threads as well as male 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for compatible lights, flashes, stands, brackets, reflectors, and other studio accessories.

Built from aluminum alloy, steel, and polymer with brass stud adapters, the mount supports up to 5.51 lb (2.5 kg) while weighing 0.84 lb (0.38 kg), making it useful for portrait, product, video, and location-lighting setups.
